The Locust of MM2 Playing as The Locust

Tall black TV horror, 100 Robux, whole-map hunts, lockers and vents.

Locust Monster Role

The Locust is the hunter in MM2 of The Locust, a Roblox 1 vs All Pre-Alpha by THE STALKERS OG. You are not a gunman from Nikilis’ Murder Mystery 2. You are a tall black TV-horror silhouette inspired by DoctorNowhere’s Locust: a dark body, a screen for a head, and a hitbox that fills doorways. The role costs 100 Robux. Your job is to hunt the whole map, not to patrol one pretty hallway while the rest of a 30-player server hides.

This page is the monster half of the players hub. The other half is survivors. Buy steps: how to become Locust. Layout value from the hunter side: maps tier list. Container value: hiding spot ranks.

Design and how it plays

The silhouette is the tell. Survivors see a tall black shape and a TV face in the dark. You see a nest of lockers, vents, TVs, secret rooms, and underground cuts. Use that height. Check above crates. Look down stairwells. Do not crouch-play as if you were still a survivor. Crouch (C) is a survivor tool. As Locust, Q is your special: a hunt ability, not a polite push. Save it for a pinch — a single door, a locker wall, a vent mouth — not a miss in an open plaza.

Sprint exists in the nest (Left Ctrl or E on the survivor kit). As the monster, pressure is more important than a perfect strafe. Cut rotations. Arrive at the second exit before the survivor does.

Buy the role, then hunt the map

100 Robux puts you in the hunter seat. It does not teach you locker order. After the lobby vote, pick a first-check path:

  1. Last-seen interior from the previous night, if you spectated.
  2. Locker walls on the main floor.
  3. Vent mouths, not vent interiors.
  4. Underground stairs if the layout has them.
  5. Open roofs last if survivors already fled them, first if the vote was a block plaza.

Open rooftops and bright blocks are A for you and C for survivors. Multi-exit interiors are S for them, which means you must check more than one door. Tight corridors are your friend when they funnel. Carnival rides are mixed: wait at tube mouths, do not chase a coaster mesh forever.

Check lockers and vents like a checklist

Survivors who break line of sight will take lockers (A hide) and vents (S hide). You beat lockers by checking the wall they used, not the wall you like. You beat vents by camping the dump, not by following them into the duct. Dead-end closets are free. Light campers are free. Do not over-commit to a free kill while three other players rotate behind you. Whole-map hunt means you leave a corpse and keep walking.

If survivors hold a taser, respect the five-second stun. If they hold a camera, do not stand in a ten-second freeze hallway for a teabag. Re-path. Their Keys were spent. Yours were not. Shop context for what they bought: equipment ranks.

Q special, then leave

Q is the Locust special. Use it when a survivor is already trapped: one door, a locker animation, a tube exit. Using it in an open block plaza wastes the only monster button that is not “walk.” After a successful special, check the next container. Do not emote the body while a revive (which may cost resources) puts someone behind you.

What not to do

  • Do not loop one hallway for the entire night.
  • Do not ignore lockers because they “feel empty.”
  • Do not invent map names in callouts. Say interior, roof, corridor, carnival, underground.
  • Do not treat a cosmetic skin as a power-up. Skins are C-tier shop drip.

If you are still learning survivor hides, play a few nights without the role. The how to survive guide is a list of mistakes you will punish later. Then buy. Then hunt.

Codes do not replace the Robux buy. Check codes for Keys, not for a free Locust. Pre-Alpha notes: updates. Controls sheet: controls. When you die as a survivor next round, run the survival checklist so you remember how the other side thinks.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for nest survival, codes, and Locust hunts.

How much does the Locust role cost?

100 Robux. The buy is covered on how to become Locust. Skins in the shop are cosmetics, not the role itself.

What does Q do as the Locust?

Q is the Locust special. Use it at a pinch: a single door, locker wall, or vent mouth. Survivors use Q as a push instead.

Should I camp one hallway?

No. Hunt the whole map. Check lockers, vents, and underground stairs. One hallway lets the rest of a 30-player server rotate.

Which maps are best for the Locust?

Open rooftops and block plazas (A for you). Tight funnels are strong. Multi-exit interiors make you work. Ranks: maps tier list.

Do I need to check lockers?

Yes. Lockers are A-tier hides after a LOS break. Skip them and you gift nights. See hiding spot ranks.

Is this DoctorNowhere's Locust or Nikilis' MM2?

The monster is inspired by DoctorNowhere's Locust. The maps echo MM2 rooms. The game is a separate Roblox experience by THE STALKERS OG, not original Murder Mystery 2.
