Locust Tier List Hub

This hub ranks what actually changes a round in MM2 of The Locust, the Roblox 1 vs All horror experience by THE STALKERS OG. The game is a playable Pre-Alpha (live since late July 2026) with 29M+ visits and 30-player online servers. It is not Nikilis’ Murder Mystery 2. Maps only echo those classic rooms: darker, larger, stuffed with lockers, vents, TVs, and underground cuts.

Ranks here are opinions with stated criteria, not a patch table. S means the choice regularly saves a life or wins a hunt. F means the spend or hide looks tempting and still gets you killed. Read the full lists on equipment ranks, map ranks, and hiding spot ranks, then apply them with the Locust role and survivor role pages.

How these ranks are scored

Every list on this hub uses the same three questions:

  1. Does the choice create time? A taser that stuns about five seconds, or a vent that dumps you into a second hallway, both buy time. Standing in a lit doorway does not.
  2. Does it still work after you miss once? Camera flash (about ten seconds of paralysis) is strong only if you can aim. A locker you never broke line of sight for is already dead.
  3. What does it cost? Keys, a 100 Robux Locust buy, or a revive that may burn resources all have a real price. Cosmetics never stun the monster.

Thirty-player servers punish greedy plays; when two options tie, we rank the one that still works in a noisy lobby.

Equipment snapshot

Shop power is simple. The taser is S because a clutch stun is the only hard interrupt most survivors get. The camera is A: a longer freeze if you land the flash, a wasted night if you panic-click the floor. Extra Keys and a possible revive sit in B. Monster skins and other cosmetics are C. Buying Keys with Robux when you can still farm them is F.

Spend in that order before a round. The equipment tier list explains each rank, and the items guide covers what the tools do. If you only have Keys for one buy, take the taser.

Map snapshot

We do not invent official map names. Vote in the lobby by layout:

  • S for survivors: multi-exit interiors with lockers, vents, and a secret room or stair that is not a dead closet.
  • A for the Locust / C for survivors: open rooftops and bright block plazas. Sightlines favor the hunter.
  • B / C: tight corridors. Good for a short juke, terrible if you commit with no second door.
  • Mixed: carnival and fair layouts with rides, trains, coaster props, and tubes. High mobility, easy to get stuck on a prop.

The maps tier list ranks those layout types. Pair it with the maps guide and learn two exits per room.

Hiding snapshot

Hiding is not camping. Break line of sight, then pick a container.

  • S: vents you can reroute through; underground paths if you already know the exit.
  • A: lockers after a real LOS break.
  • F: dead-end closets, and standing in light.

Do not sit in one locker for the whole night. The Locust checks containers. Full reasoning lives on the hiding spots tier list and the hiding guide.

How to use this hub in a live lobby

In the lobby, vote the layout, check Keys, and buy tools before cosmetics. Confirm sprint (Left Ctrl or E), crouch (C), and Q (push for survivors, special for the Locust) on the controls sheet. If you bought the Locust role, hunt the whole map instead of looping one hallway; the how to become Locust guide covers the 100 Robux buy.

During a chase, spend the taser only when a grab is certain. After a death, spectate, then run the survival checklist. Codes sit on the codes hub. Patch context: Pre-Alpha notes. Rank time over drip. Never treat a single locker as a strategy.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for nest survival, codes, and Locust hunts.

Is this tier list official?

No. It is an opinionated fan ranking for MM2 of The Locust by THE STALKERS OG. Criteria are time created, forgiveness after a miss, and Key or Robux cost. Cross-check shop text in-game.

What should I buy first with Keys?

Buy the taser first, then the camera if you can aim. Park extra Keys for a possible revive. Skip cosmetics until you already survive. Full order is on the equipment tier list.

Do you rank named maps?

No. Pre-Alpha layouts shift and we do not invent official names. Rank by type: multi-exit interiors, open rooftops, tight corridors, and carnival rides. See the maps tier list.

Where should I hide?

Break line of sight, then use a vent or a known underground exit. Lockers are fine after a real break. Dead-end closets and standing in light are F. Details: hiding spot ranks.

Does the Locust use a different list?

Same maps, inverted value. Open blocks are A for the hunter and C for survivors. Read Playing as The Locust next to this hub.

Is MM2 of The Locust the original Murder Mystery 2?

No. This is a separate Roblox experience inspired by DoctorNowhere's Locust. Classic MM2 rooms are only a layout echo.
