The Locust of MM2 TV Horror Events in the Nest

MM2 of The Locust fills darkened Murder Mystery 2-style rooms with televisions. They are the DoctorNowhere fingerprint: a tall Locust that belongs on a screen, then in the hallway. THE STALKERS OG’s playable Pre-Alpha uses those sets as horror events, not as a second shop. This page is how to treat a glowing TV, when a crowd on a set is bait, and how a Locust player uses that bait.

This is not House of the Locust and not The Locust Manor. Those are other Roblox places. You are in place 113385977463481, online, 30 players, already released since late July 2026. Map names on the vote screen are layouts, not official titles. Use maps for exits. Use this page for the prop that makes people stop walking.

What a TV actually does

Recorded rounds show three overlapping behaviors. Pre-Alpha hitching means you will not see all three every night.

1. Atmosphere. Static, faces, and noise. Harmless until you stand in front of it with no second door.
2. Crowd magnet. Players gather, film, and dare each other. The Locust walks into a clump.
3. Spawn / birth beat. Some hunts play a screen-break or a “birthed from the TV” moment when a Locust player enters or when the event fires. Treat the set as a spawn door, not as loot.

Keys do not spawn inside the glass. If you see a Key near a TV, take it only if you already have a turn into a locker or vent. How to farm Keys is the pickup loop. Hiding spots is where you go after the set screams.

Survivor rules at a set

Do not sprint at the first glow. Listen. Floor creaks and distant screams tell you whether the Locust is already committed to that room.

• If two or more players are staring at the screen, leave. That is a kill zone.
• If you are alone, glance, then take the side door. Curiosity is a bind you did not map on controls.
• Sprint (Left Ctrl or E) out, crouch (C) into cover, do not push (Q) the TV like a door unless the UI clearly labels an interact.
• Save taser and camera for a grab in a hallway, not for a jump scare on glass. Flash ~10s, shock ~5s, limited charges — items and equipment.

Locust rules at a set

If you bought the 100 Robux role, TVs are free gathering points. Walk the long way, let survivors clump, then cut the only lit exit. Q is the special. Do not swing at the screen; swing at the players watching it. Hunt routes: how to become the Locust and the Locust.

Mobile hunters: the attack button can be unclear in Pre-Alpha. Learn it in an empty hall, not during a TV event, or you waste the clump.

Event versus bug

Pre-Alpha still hitchs. A Locust that cannot move next to a TV is a bug, not an invitation. Do not walk up to poke it. Break line of sight and hide. Pre-Alpha notes log that class of failure. Updates is the hub.

A TV that never fires for a whole Night is also normal. Not every set is wired. Learn the room as a room: two exits, one locker, no heroics. Rank the layout on the map tier list and the hide on the hiding-spot ranks.

First-night TV checklist

1. Join a public server. The nest is live.
2. Vote a map you can read. Ignore fan names like Locust Stronghold.
3. On spawn, note TVs the way you note stairs — as doors that can spawn a hunter.
4. Never stand in a clump on a set.
5. If an event fires, sprint to a known locker, not deeper into the room.
