The Locust of MM2 Tools Hub
Key spend planner, control sheet, and a night-by-night survival checklist.
This hub is the clipboard for MM2 of The Locust: what to buy, what to bind, and what to tick before a 30-player night. It is not a script list. Scripts live on the scripts hub. These tools assume the game is already playable (Pre-Alpha, live since late July 2026, THE STALKERS OG, online 1 vs All). Use them in the lobby, not in a Google sheet after you die.
The main runnable page is the survival checklist. This hub holds the Key spend planner and a control sheet that links out to the full controls guide. Gear opinions behind the planner: equipment tier list. Role context: survivors and The Locust.
Key spend planner
Keys are farmable shop currency. Spend them on time. Do not spend them on looking like the monster unless you already last nights.
Priority 1 — Taser (S). Buy this first. About five seconds of stun. Hold it for a grab, a blocked door, or a teammate you can reach. This is the only common interrupt that works in panic.
Priority 2 — Camera (A). About ten seconds of paralysis if you land the flash. Skip it until you can aim down a hall. A floor flash is a wasted night.
Priority 3 — Extra Keys / revive (B). Bank currency. A revive may cost resources. A second night is worth more than a skin.
Priority 4 — Monster skins and cosmetics (C). Buy after you survive. Skins do not open vents.
Priority 5 — Robux Keys (F) if you can still farm. Paying for a farmable pile teaches you to skip lobby discipline. Save Robux for the 100 Robux Locust role if you actually want to hunt. Check codes before you open the Robux prompt; do not invent a code.
Worked example: you have enough for one buy and no taser. Buy the taser. You already have a taser and a camera. Bank Keys. You main Locust and already last nights as a survivor. Cosmetics are finally legal. The items guide explains what each tool does; this planner only ranks the spend.
Control sheet (lobby binds)
Confirm these before the round, not after the first scream:
- Sprint: Left Ctrl or E
- Crouch: C
- Q: push as a survivor, Locust special as the hunter
- Shop: Keys, taser, camera, cosmetics
- Vote: map layout in the lobby
If any bind feels wrong, fix it using the controls page. Survivors who sprint-toggle into a locker doorway get pulled. Locust players who forget Q at a single door donate a night. Print this sheet in your head, then play.
Checklist link
The numbered loop — pre-round, mid-chase, post-death — lives on survival checklist. Open it on a second monitor or read it once and tick from memory. Reopen it when you keep dying the same way.
How to use this hub in one lobby
- Vote a multi-exit interior if you are surviving (maps ranks).
- Run the Key spend planner. Buy taser before camera.
- Confirm sprint, crouch, Q.
- Note two exits and one vent dump. Hide ranks: hiding spots.
- Play the night. If you die, spectate, then run the checklist again.
New players should still read getting started and how to survive. This hub does not replace those guides. It compresses them into buys and ticks. Patch-side tool changes, if the shop shifts, will show up on Pre-Alpha updates.
If you came here looking for executors, leave. The how to use scripts page is a different topic. Survival tools are binds, Keys, and a checklist.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for nest survival, codes, and Locust hunts.
What tools are on this hub?
A Key spend planner, a lobby control sheet, and a link to the survival checklist. Full binds: controls.
What should I buy if I only have Keys for one item?
The taser. It is S-tier. Camera is A if you can aim. Planner details sit on this page; item behavior is on items.
Should I buy Keys with Robux?
Not if you can farm. That spend is F-tier. Save Robux for the Locust role. Check codes first.
What binds do I confirm in the lobby?
Sprint (Left Ctrl or E), crouch (C), and Q (push or Locust special). The controls guide is the full sheet.
Is this a scripts page?
No. Scripts are on the scripts hub. This hub is checklist, spends, and binds for a live Pre-Alpha round.
When do I open the checklist?
Every lobby until the loop is automatic. Start at survival checklist, then play the night.
